There’s no denying Batman is the coolest superhero out there and apart from having mastered his full body control by the time he was 18, he officially knows 127 styles of martial arts. But, technology has been instrumental in instilling fear among criminals, giving some of the most iconic moments for the fans. The Dark Knight franchise which was released in 2008 starred Christain Bale as Bruce Wayne and the Caped Crusader. When he was not saving the day, the film featured Bale’s character driving Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640.  

The Dark Knight features a black Lamborghini fitted with a number of armoured protection upgrades and special gadgets including self-inflating tires and a smoke screen system. However, we guess that you might have missed out on other significant details about the car.

The film comes along quite well, as Christopher Nolan’s vision of Gotham is quite commendable. But, to everyone’s surprise, the Lamborghini has a symbolic meaning to its addition. Interestingly, when translated the car’s name holds a significant meaning to the character. In Spanish, Murcielago means a ‘Bat’ that depicts Bruce Wayne’s other secret identity.

The Dark Knight franchise concluded in 2012, and it is still considered to be one of the best superhero characters to date. With all the films, fans have admired his vehicles. Naturally, fans miss him as the World’s Greatest Detective. 

Previously, Christian Bale was asked if he wants to return as Batman or not and the responded to the same negatively. However, the actor pointed out that he would only return if Christopher Nolan returns to helm the project.
