She has been grabbing the headlines recently for her messy divorce with her husband of months, Adil Khan Durrani. A few hours after video of the two having a meal at the restaurant went viral, it is being reported that he has been arrested after she filed a complaint against him at the Oshiwara police station.
During her interaction with the media, Rakhi has not only accused Adil of having an extra-marital affair with a woman named Tanu, but also alleged him of killing her mother by refusing to pay for her surgeries when Rakhi was in the Bigg Boss Marathi season 4 house. She revealed that he has taken her house keys, which he is refusing to return to her. Through various media interactions, she had alleged that while she was busy grieving her mother’s death, she caught Adil chaeating on her, he had love bites all over his body. He even hit her while she was praying Namaz. The 44-year-old has also revealed that Adil stole all her savings and jewellery. She has gone on to allege that her estranged husband just used her to gain fame in Bollywood.
As quoted by Zee News, she had said, “Adil ne finally decision le liya ki woh Tanu ke saath rehenge. Kal unhone bol diya mujhe, ki mai jaa raha hoon tumhe chod ke, mai Tanu ke saath rahunga. For the unversed, pictures of Rakhi and Adil’s court marriage had gone viral on social media. While many believed it to be farce, the Main Hoon Na actress had taken it upon herself, to inform her fans that the couple had gotten married in secret seven-eight months ago. Fans took to the comment section of the pictures and expressed their excitement about the couple.
On the work front, Rakhi Sawant was last seen in Bigg Boss Marathi 4, where she was declared the fifth runner-up despite being a wild-card entrant.
