Not very long ago, Robert Downey Jr took his fans by storm after a remarkable stint as the Iron Man in Avengers: Endgame, which is, supposedly, his last outing as the superhero. However, this piece isn’t about Robert and his antics as the Iron Man, but rather his upcoming film, Dolittle, which was earlier titled as The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle. The film was announced in March 2018, when the actor had disclosed that John Cena, Tom Holland, Selena Gomez, Kumail Nanjiani, Rami Malek, Emma Thompson, Craig Robinson, Ralph Fiennes, Marion Cotillard, Frances De La Tour, Carmen Ejogo and Octavia Spencer were to lend their voices for the characters in this film.

Now, the makers of Dolittle have unveiled the film’s first look poster, featuring Robert Downey Jr and it’s all things furry. While we are used to seeing Robert surrounded by his Marvel superheroes’ clan, the poster has the actor posing with all kind of species, ranging from a parrot to a polar bear. Cute! In the film, Robert plays a vet that understands and can speak to animals out there. Dolittle was scheduled to release on April 2019, alongside Avengers: Endgame, however, it was postponed because of a few reshoots. Reportedly, Dolittle is based on Hugh's second Doctor Dolittle edition, The Voyages of Doctor Dolittle.
