Dua Lipa Responds To Pregnancy Rumours: ‘I Am Not Pregnant, Just To Clear Up’

British singer Dua Lipa is quite popular on social media. She has a massive fan base, on the social media platforms, who constantly keep a check on her daily activities. The singer drops pictures and videos quite often, treating fans with some content. It was recently that Dua shared a picture of her and captioned it with a ‘baby’ and ‘pregnant lady’ emoji. The singer was too quick to delete the post from her Instagram. In no time, her fans noticed and pregnancy rumours sparked up.
Finally, Dua Lipa reacted to the pregnancy rumours. She rubbished the rumours and cleared the air regarding the same, during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. When the singer was asked about the floating rumours regarding her pregnancy, which started because of the emojis, Dua said, “I like finding little random emojis.” The No New Rules singer continued, “I put, like, a little baby bottle, a little angel, some sparkles. Random. I really didn’t think this through.”
She added about the now-deleted picture, “I posted it, and then I look at the comments, and then somebody says, ‘Is she pregnant?’” Later, in the interview, Dua said, “And I look at the picture, I look at the comment, I look at the picture, I look at the comment [and] I’m like, ‘Surely, I don’t look pregnant.’ And then, I see that people have been writing stories saying that I posted some cryptic message that I might be announcing my pregnancy. And I’m like, ‘Oh my god. These emojis have come to bite me in the ass.’” Finally, the singer cleared the air. She concluded with, “I am not pregnant, just to clear up,” and added, “Not pregnant.”
Meanwhile, on the personal front, Dua Lipa has been in a relationship with Bella and Gigi Hadid’s brother Anwar Hadid. She had opened up about her relationship with Anwar during an interview with British Vogue. The 25-year-old singer got candid and had revealed that her model boyfriend and she started dating in July 2019. She also mentioned that they are private people and hence share only a few things on social media.
