In the US elections 2020, the democratic Jo Biden won the elections while taking over the republican Donald Trump’s position. With Joe Biden is the new president of the United States of America, an inauguration ceremony is being organized where the Hollywood biggies will be seen performing for the big night. Stars like Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Christopher Jackson Garth Brooks will be performing. Reportedly, Miranda will contribute a classical recitation, joining musicians like Bruce Springsteen, Katy Perry, John Legend, Demi Lovato, Foo Fighters, Justin Timberlake and Bon Jovi.
Speaking about the performance, "I'm glad to play a part in it," says Jackson to CBS News, who will perform at the quadrennial ball. "It's a great honour, and I'm very grateful that we have allowed our system to continue to work in the way it was intended," he further added. Jackson also revealed the idea behind his performance to the portal, "So the idea that this inauguration is happening is testament to the resolute dedication that our public servants have to make this thing work."
"I feel there's going to have to be a really long and powerful effort by the Creative Coalition and other organizations to finally, try and make federal, local and state governments understand the importance of the arts," he said. Apart from this glamour and glitz event, there’s also going to be a virtual “Parade Across America” on inauguration afternoon which will be hosted by actor Tony Goldwyn along with Jon Stewart.
