Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson surprised his millions of fans as he recently shared that he wouldn’t rule out the possibility of a presidential run in the future. While speaking to US Weekly, Dwayne Johnson said that he would consider running for President if that was what people actually wanted. The Rock had earlier hit the headlines in 2017, when he had said that he spoke about the possibility of running for President, while speaking to GQ. However, looks like that did not happen, and he might have been re-considering joining politics.
While speaking to US Weekly, Dwayne Johnson said, “I would consider a presidential run in the future if that's what the people wanted. Truly I mean that, and I'm not flippant in any way with my answer. That would be up to the people... So I would wait, and I would listen. I would have my finger on the pulse, my ear to the ground.” Well, we are sure that’s exciting news for Dwayne Johnson fans!
Meanwhile, in 2017, Dwayne Johnson had said that was blown away by the people’s reaction to him speaking about the possibility of going against Trump during the elections. Dwayne had said on The Tonight Show, “I’ve been really been blown away. And it’s so flattering. And I think you have to question why. I think it’s because, you know, a lot of people want to see a different leadership today — I’m sorry, not different, but better leadership today, right?”
