The much-awaited sequel of Chris Hemsworth’s 2020 hit Extraction has finally seen a new development and fans couldn’t be more pleased. The Hollywood star has unveiled the official teaser of his upcoming action film ‘Extraction 2’ on Monday.
The actor took to his Instagram handle and dropped the official trailer and his caption read, "You only get one shot at a second chance. EXTRACTION 2 debuts globally June 16, only on @Netflix. #TylerRakeLives."
The trailer featured the Thor actor in a single-take-action sequence in which he could be seen fighting with the goons after barely surviving the events of the first film. In the second instalment of the franchise Australian black ops mercenary is tasked with another deadly mission, rescuing the battered family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from the prison where they are being held.
Shortly after the actor shared the trailer, the comments section was flooded with red hearts and fire emoticons.

Extraction 2 is helmed by Sam Hargrave and it will premiere exclusively on Netflix on June 16, 2023.
For those unaware, ‘Extraction’ 2020 was a big hit and it featured black-ops mercenary Tyler Rake (Hemsworth) who travels to Bangladesh to rescue the kidnapped son of a drug lord. Towards the end of the film, Tyler takes a bullet to the neck while protecting the child, leaving fans wondering if he survived the shot.
