Late Tunisha Sharma’s Uncle Blessed With A Daughter Three Months After Actress’ Death; Says, ‘She Is Back With Us’
Tunisha Sharma’s uncle Pawan Sharma was blessed a baby girl, months after the actress passed away from suicide
Renowned television actress Tunisha Sharma left everyone in shock when she committed suicide on the sets of her show Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul in December 2022. The entire ordeal that followed was heartbreaking for fans. Now, three months later, the actress’ uncle Pawan Sharma has been blessed with a daughter named Diva. During a recent interaction with the media, he opened up about how he feels that Tunisha has returned to the family.
Talking to ETimes, he expressed that the family had always hoped for a son, however, after her passing the family yearned for a daughter. He added, “Ghar se ek beti chali gayi thi and everyone was hoping ki beti hi aaye. Touch wood wohi hua.” He went on to recall how the 20-year-old was so excited for the delivery and to meet her new cousin. Sharma told the entertainment publication that Tunisha’s mother Vanita was also very happy to see the newborn. When she saw baby Diva, she said, “Tunisha is back with us.” He recalled how his sister smiled looking at the baby for the first time in the past three months as she is still reeling from the loss of her daughter. He added, “She was here with us for two days and went back to Chandigarh. She does video calls and asks for daily updates on Diva. No one can take Tunisha’s place or the pain that we feel because of her untimely demise but bohot samay ke baad ghar ka mahaul thoda positive hua hai.”
For the unversed, the 20-year-old television actress was found hanging in the bathroom of her ex-boyfriend and co-star’s make-up room on the sets of her serial ‘Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul’. Talking about ex-boyfriend Sheezan, he was arrested under section 306 of IPC for abetment of suicide. In March 2023, he was granted bail.
