Furious Madonna Slams Instagram For its 'SEXIST' Policies And Deleting Her Nipple-Baring Pics, Reposts Deleted Photos
Madonna in her stand against Instagram and its sexist policies has reposted her nipple-baring pictures.
Recently, Madonna angered a plethora of followers with her latest Instagram updates and she grabbed the headlines with her social media shenanigans.
A recent addition to the list of things that the Queen of Pop is seeing red over is Instagram's policies which prohibit women from posting photos with nipples, excluding breastfeeding photos.
Now, in an unprecedented turn of events, Madonna lashed out at the platform's policies around nudity slamming them as "sexist" after she shared the racy images for which she donned a strappy barely-there bra and thong with fishnets, were taken down.
Madonna has posted the formerly nipple-baring images, with small edits but she's not
keeping quiet about being censored.
Madonna is now in arms against Instagram’s policies as she reposted her edited photos from the same series hitting back at censorship, terming the practice as misogynist and sexist, and taking away agency that women have on their bodies.
Sharing the image, Madonna wrote, "I’m reposting photographs Instagram took down without warning or notification….. The reason they gave my management that does not handle my account was that a small portion of my nipple was exposed. It is still astounding to me that we live in a culture that allows every inch of a woman’s body to be shown except a nipple.”
Her latest post received mixed reactions from fans. Some lent her support while the others trash-talked her for the racy nature of the pictures yet again.
In the photos, Madonna was seen crouching on a bed while looking into the camera suggestively, another photo saw her posing with nothing on but a bedsheet covering the lower half of her body while she lay on her side on her bed while smiling at the camera. Another photo featured her, slipping under the bed with just her thong-clad derriere being front and center in the image.
She hit back at Instagram as she wrote, “As if that is the only part of a woman’s anatomy that could be sexualized. The nipple that nourishes the baby! . Can’t a mans nipple be experienced as erotic ??!! And what about a woman’s ass which is never censored anywhere. Giving thanks that I have managed to maintain my sanity through four decades of censorship…… sexism……ageism and misogyny. Perfectly timed with the lies we have been raised to believe about the pilgrims peacefully breaking bread with the Native American Indians when they landed on Plymouth Rock! God bless America 🇺🇸”
Previously, Fans called her recent photos vulgar. In one of the pictures, she was seen crouching on the bed while looking at the camera suggestively. In another, the pop sensation got rid of her strappy bra posed while lying under the covers, freeing the nipple for the camera which she covered with a heart emoji.
