Has Lady Gaga Dropped Her Name?

It all went down as the artist formerly known as Lady Gaga politely asked her fans during the Dive Bar Tour to ‘just call me Joanne.’ During her Nashville leg of the tour, she introduced 3 songs from her self-named album, much to the enjoyment of the audience. The songs that she sang were a bluesy Sinner’s Prayer, followed by A-Yo and she finally gave us a brand new version of Perfect Illusion.
Lady Gaga is known for her outrageous costumes that have been her main-stay, whether it’s her public appearances or her tours. She was in touch with her diva side though, as she came on stage wearing something that was reminiscent of Carmen Sandiego.
Now, we can’t be quite sure if Gaga has dropped her name for good or did the simple goodness of Nashville get to her as she requested the fans to use a simple name for her. But Lady Gaga or Joanne, we love her and her songs all the same.
