Helen Mirren confirms Fast 8 role

Helen Mirren has confirmed in an interview that she will play a role in the upcoming film in the Fast and Furious franchise, Fast 8. Mirren will join the already awesome cast comprising of Vin Diesel, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Charlize Theron and others.
Helen had earlier said in a 2015 interview, "My great ambition is to be in a Fast and Furious movie. I so want to be a mad driver in a Fast and Furious movie. My claim to fame is I always do my own driving – I was on Top Gear, and I did [my lap] in a very good time. I keep putting it out there, and they never ask me. I’ll be in Fast and Furious 8."
About her co-star Vin Diesel, she said, "I have to say Vin Diesel is brilliant. I love Vin Diesel. He’s a great guy, smart – I love him. It’s partly because of him I’d like to be in one, but also the driving."
Helen Mirren had earlier aced her role in the action-fests Red and Red 2, where she co-starred with the action great Bruce Willis.
