Hollywood star Hugh Jackman’s father Christopher John Jackman passed away on Father’s Day
The Australian actor and Hollywood star Hugh Jackman’s father is no more. The actor taking to his Instagram account revealed that his father passed away on Father’s Day. The actor shared a moving tribute to his father in his post.
The Wolverine star shared a picture of his father in the Instagram post on Monday (September 6) and wrote, “In the early hours of Father’s Day (AU), my Dad peacefully passed away. And whilst there is deep sadness, I am filled with such gratitude and love.”
“My Dad was, in a word, extraordinary. He devoted his life to his family, his work and his faith. I pray he is now at peace with God,” concluded the actor is social media post.
Condolences poured in for the 52-year-old actor’s celeb friends and fans from across the world for him and his loved ones. Sorry for your loss," a fan commented. "Rest in peace. Sending condolences and best wishes to you, and your loved ones," another netizen wrote.
On the work front, Hugh Jackman’s Reminiscence is all set to release in select cities in India on August 27. The film is directed by Lisa Joy and stars Rebecca Fergusson, Thandie Newton, Natalie Martinez, Marina de Tavira and Angela Sarafyan.
