Jennifer Lawrence has finally given birth to her first child with her husband Cooke Maroney. As per TMZ, the actress welcomed her baby in Los Angeles county but no gender or exact birthdate has been revealed.
The recent development comes after Jennifer Lawrence’s pregnancy made it to the headlines in 2021 when she was spotted in New York. She was then snapped in December 2021, at her red carpet appearance when she was seen flaunting her baby bump.

Jennifer and Cooke’s romance traces back to 2018 and it wasn’t long before they got serious. After getting engaged in February 2019, they got married that October in Rhode Island. The elegant wedding ceremony saw the appearance of celebrities like Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble, Emma Stone, Amy Schumer, Adele, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden, Sienna Miller, and Ashley Olsen.
Shortly after, a representative for Lawrence confirmed she was expecting her first child.
Sources close to the actress revealed to People that she has wanted to start a family for a long time, and finally found the right partner to have kids with.
“She loves married life, and they have a solid foundation for a baby. She is very happy and looking forward to being a mom,” the source added.
Jennifer and Cooke were recently spotted house hunting late last week, and from the looks of it, they have been preparing for the baby’s arrival, well in time.
The 31-year-old actress sparked pregnancy rumours in early September after she was captured out in New York City with a noticeable baby bump.
