Johnny Depp’s Face As Captian Jack Sparrow Appears At Paris’ Disneyland After 5-years Following Defamation Trial WIN!
The controversy around Johnny Depp and Captain Jack Sparrow of Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean does not seem to end anytime soon. The actor was dropped from the popular franchise in the wake of sexual harassment allegations by ex-wife Amber Heard, and it left the fans enraged.

Now, Disney has brought Johnny’s face back onto its castle after a jury ruled in the actor's favour in a defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard.

The shocking update comes just weeks after the 59-year-old international star said that there’s ‘nothing on this earth' that would tempt him to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

Disney distanced itself from Johnny just four days after an op-ed was published in 2018, but, now the projection of the actor's image as Jack Sparrow onto the castle at Disneyland Paris, has left the fans confused.

However, many managed to find happiness following the landmark development and several images and video from Disneyland have gone viral on social media.

Fans can be heard cheering as Johnny’s face appears on the screen, and was followed by a line said by him in the film. More scenes of Johnny from the film were projected, while the series' theme music played. The light show also featured fireworks and fountains.

This is the first time since 2018 that Disney has used Johnny Depp’s image as Jack in the light show.

Earlier in 2018, Disney production chief Sean Bailey had said that Johnny was no longer a part of the blockbuster franchise, telling The Hollywood Reporter that they 'want to bring in a new energy and vitality,' a reason which not many found believable.

Losing his prized role as Jack Sparrow had been a central claim in Johnny's defamation suit against his ex-wife Amber.
