Popular Malayalam actor Siddique is being questioned by the crime branch in 2017 abduction case
Popular Malayalam actor Siddique was questioned by Crime branch police probe team on Tuesday. For the unversed, he was accused in the 2017 actress abduction case. According to sources the probe team has to submit it’s final report by July 15, so the team was planning to interrogate the Siddique, close friend of Dileep from quite a long time.
The 59- year old actor was summoned in the case on the letter written by Pulsar Suni, the prime accused in the case, which has reference. Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) supported Dileep as he had to spend several weeks in jail in 2017. Now he is released on bail.
The police have questioned the Love Jihad actor on all aspects including the conversation happened at the hotel in Kochi before the abduction. The probe team has also quizzed the doctor based in Kochi. Till the last year in December, probe team was working smoothly till the film director Balachandrakumar claimed that after being released on bail Dileep had schemed to do away with the police officials probing the case.
After this revelation a new case was filed against the actor Dileep but this time too, he got out on bail. But after the latest revelation police has requested the court to cancel the bail, but the decision has not yet come.
Actor Siddique have done more than 400 films across languages and have won many prestigious awards. He was last seen in movie John Luther as Mathew.
