Meanwhile, actor Joaquin Phoenix is gaining a lot of popularity too and his performance is being hailed as Oscar-worthy. However, here comes shocking news. As per reports, Joaquin's car recently rammed into a Paramedics' truck in Los Angeles after the star took a narrow turn. Thankfully no one got harmed in this accident barring a few damages to the actor's car.
As per a report in TMZ, Joaquin Phoenix who was behind the wheels took a sharp turn and his car hit the fire department vehicle while driving in West Hollywood. No person was present in the truck when the car hit and thankfully, the accident wasn't a major one. Joaquin Phoenix is safe and as per reports, he soon pulled over and explained to the officials what exactly happened. Police was called but Joaquin Phoenix did not receive any ticket. However, there was an exchange of insurance details and damage report was made as an LA County property was damaged. Joaquin Phoenix was 'cordial and easy to deal with' said the Police official as reported by the portal.
The report further reveals that it was Joaquin's car that suffered the major brunt of this minor accident. He was reportedly driving a Tesla and thanks to this collision, the right front quarter panel of the car suffered damage. The emergency fire vehicle suffered just a scratch.
