Singer and songwriter Justin Bieber seem to be extremely miffed with PETA this time. The singing sensation was taken potshots at by PETA's Senior Vice President Lisa Lange during her conversation with USA TODAY.  PETA’s Sr. VP slammed the singer for his move and advocated how the singer could have done a little better to the world by adopting a stray rather than opting for hybrid cats. Justin has welcomed home a sibling duo Sushi and Tuna, Savannah cats.

According to a report in The Hollywood Reporter, the singer paid a whopping amount of $35,000 for his newest pair of pets. These Savannah cats are from Illinois, which sparked a spat between the singer and PETA body.  In her statement to the USA TODAY, Lisa said, “Baby, baby, baby, nooooooo.” She further heard saying, “Justin Bieber could inspire his fans around the world to save a life by adopting a cat from a local animal shelter — rather than fueling the dangerous demand for hybrid cats, contributing to the animal overpopulation crisis, and proving that when it comes to helping animals, his stance so far is 'I don’t care.'"

This statement by PETA’s Sr. VP didn’t go down well with the singer and he ended slamming the body by posting an Instagram story on his official Instagram handle. His Insta story read, “PETA go focus on real problems. Like poaching and animal brutality," he wrote in a note posted on his Instagram stories. "Ur tripping because I want a specific kind of cat? U weren't tripping when I got my dog Oscar and he wasn't a rescue….”
