Kal Penn Comes Out Of The Closet, Reveals Being Engaged To Josh For 11 Years, Says, ‘We Had Our 11th Anniversary In October’

Hollywood actor Kal Penn who shot to fame with the movie, Harold and Kumar recently came out of the closet, revealing being engaged to his partner Josh. They have been engaged for the last 11 years, the actor made this revelation on CBS Sunday Morning, when he graced the show to promote his memoir, You Can`t Be Serious. In his memoir, he has shared how he was introduced to acting, his experience while working with former US president, Barack Obama and his relationship with his partner, Josh.
The actor revealed, “Josh and I`ve been together for 11 years.” Speaking about how he has presented about his sexuality in his memoir, he said, “We had our 11th anniversary in October. So, writing about it... it`s very matter-of-fact in our lives, and when you're the son of Indian immigrants who says that you want to be an actor, the chaos that that creates in your family and your community, will trump anything else, always.”
He had told PEOPLE magazine, “I discovered my own sexuality relatively late in life compared to many other people. There's no timeline on this stuff. People figure their shit out at different times in their lives, so I'm glad I did when I did.”
As reported in ANI, the actor shared how excited he is to share deets about his relationship with the readers. Also, he shared the reason why there aren’t any pictures of Josh on social media. The news agency quoted him saying, “I've always been very public [about my relationship] with everybody I've personally interacted with. I'm really excited to share our relationship with readers. But Josh, my partner, my parents, and my brother, four people who I'm closest to in the family, are fairly quiet.
