It’s official! Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are taking their friendship to the next level.
A source close to Kim told E! News that the 41-year-old reality star and 28-year-old Saturday Night Live comedian are officially dating: "They are really happy and seeing where it goes."
"Pete has told her he doesn't want to see anyone else," the source said, noting Kim apparently feels the same. "She is telling some people they aren't super serious but she isn't seeing anyone else... She's trying to not make a big deal about it but is super into him."
Though the mother-of-four is trying to keep it low-key, the insider says, "Kim is smitten over him and it's very exciting to her."
The report further added that the beauty mogul feels "giddy" around the King of Staten Island star. The source also highlighted that "Pete Davidson makes her laugh the entire time they are together and she is completely enthralled by him."
The recent report comes after Kim and Pete were recently seen engaged in a bold public display of affection. The couple were seen holding hands on Wednesday while celebrating his birthday in Palm Springs, California.
Neither Kim nor Pete could hide their beaming smiles as they took a stroll near her momager Kris Jenner's $12m mansion where they have been staying together, leaving little doubt their relationship is more than a passing fling, reported DailyMail.
It is the first romantic partner for the reality star since she filed for divorce from estranged husband Kanye West in February this year.
Kim's feelings for Pete were made evident when she brought him to Kris Jenner's Palm Springs home, an event that the source describes as a "huge deal." The insider notes, "Everyone is happy for her."
Though they are currently living on opposite coasts, the source says, "They are making the distance work and have plans to continue seeing each other."
Pete celebrated his 28th birthday with rumoured girlfriend Kim, her mom Kris Jenner and Flavor Flav. Pics of the celebration were shared by the rapper on Instagram. The birthday boy was seen twinning with Kim and Kris in plaid outfits.
Recently, the two were seen photographed holding hands on a rollercoaster at Knott's Berry Farm in Yorba Linda, Calif., delighting fans with the surprise outing.
