Kristen Stewart’s Film Based On Princess Diana To Have No Reference Of Meghan Markle?
As it was recently reported that actress Kristen Stewart will play the role of Princess Diana in an upcoming film, according to reports, the movie will not have any reference of Meghan Markle
Princess Diana was an icon and many fans worldwide loved her for her humility, poise, elegance and beauty. Since the untimely demise of Princess Diana in August 1997, her sons Prince William and Prince Harry have grown up and are parents themselves. While Prince William is married to Kate Midleton, The Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry is happily married to Hollywood actress Meghan Markle. As it was recently reported that actress Kristen Stewart will play the role of Princess Diana in an upcoming film, according to reports, the movie will not have any reference of Meghan Markle.
According to reports in Deadline, Kristen Stewart will essay the role of Princess Diana in the upcoming film titled Spencer. Directed by Pablo Larraín, the filmmaker opened up about his upcoming project. Talking about Stewart, the filmmaker said, “Kristen is one of the great actors around today.” Sharing why he chose Kristen for the role, the director went on to share how ‘mystery’ is most needed in the film, and needs to be done well. He continued, “Kristin can be many things, and she can be very mysterious and very fragile and ultimately very strong as well, which is what we need. The combination of those elements made me think of her."
Speaking of the film further, director Pablo Larraín revealed that the film will not have any reference of Meghan Markle or even Kate Midleton, the Duchess of Cambridge. He mentioned that the film will not deal with Princess Diana’s tragic death. Pablo revealed that the film will focus on Princess Diana’s relationship with her husband Prince Charles and the love she had for her children Prince William and Prince Harry.
Moving on, the director also shared that actress Kristen Stewart responded very well to the script and mentioned it is beautiful to see how she is approaching the character. Talking about the film titled Spencer starring actress Kristen Stewart, it is set in the early ‘90s and will cover a critical weekend when Princess Diana decided that marriage to Prince Charles was not working out.
