Madonna Hits Out At Donald Trump; Wants The 'White Supremacist Out Of The White House'
After the death of George Floyd, singer Madonna hits back at US President Donald Trump calling him a ‘White Supremacist’
Iconic singer Madonna called out to US President Donald Trump, which got her massive support on the social networking platform. Singer shared a video clip of a documentary released in the year 2016 titled 13th which spoke about the racial discrimination. A massive protest is going on in the US post the death of black man George Floyd at the hands of a white Policeman. In her post she also mentioed about not electing him for president in the upcoming elections which is scheduled to happen in November. Further, she asked people to get him out of the White House.
Her caption read, “This video is an excerpt from the documentary ‘13th’ directed by Ava DuVernay! Do we need any more proof that we need to get this White Supremacist out of the White House?” This excerpt from the documentary captures the moments from the past when black Americans were harassed by the White skinned individuals which included attacking them and ultimately leaving them injured, rushing to the hospital. We can also hear Trump’s voice in the background suggesting that he encouraged people to opt for violence.
In the voiceover one can hear him say, “Knock the crap out him” and “In the good old days, this doesn’t happen because they used to treat them very, very rough and when they protested once, you know, they would not do it again so easily.”
After George Floyd’s death, Madonna has also joined the protest Black Lives Matter, asking for justice. Back in 2017, when Madonna had mentioned of disliking the President at Women’s March, he had reciprocated to this comment of her by calling her ‘disgusting’.
