Miley Cyrus Breaks Down While Performing ‘Wrecking Ball’, Says ‘It Never Gets Easier’; Was She Crying Over Ex-Husband Liam Hemsworth?
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were once among Hollywood’s most loved and adored couples. In 2019, they left their fans shocked as news about their separation hit the headlines. The two had been in an on-and-off relationship right from the beginning and they had gotten married in a private ceremony in December 2018. Now, it has been over a year since the two announced that their marriage was over. However, as Miley Cyrus performed ‘Wrecking Ball’ at a Super Bowl 2021 pre-game show, she was seen choking back tears and getting extremely emotional.

Miley appeared to break into tears and she took a moment to collect herself before she continued singing. Wrecking Ball was rumoured to be about Liam Hemsworth, and many fans wondered if Miley broke down remembering him. In a video that has surfaced on social media, Miley is also seen saying, ‘It never gets easier’ as she tried to compose herself. She also spoke about her heart getting broken quite a lot.

“I wear a lot of glitter and I wear a lot of armour, but I also wear my heart on my sleeve, and it gets broken a lot,” she said.

Post her separation from Liam Hemsworth, Miley Cyrus had a whirlwind romance with Brody Jenner’s ex-wife Kaitlynn Carter. It was short-lived, and she later started dating Aussie singer Cody Simpson. The two broke up after dating for a few months.

In September last year, while speaking in the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Miley said, “I just went through a very public divorce which f**king sucked. What really sucked about it wasn’t the fact that I and someone that I loved [Liam Hemsworth] realised that we don’t love each other the way that we used to anymore. That’s okay, I can accept that. I can’t accept the villainising and just all those stories.” ALSO READ: Miley Cyrus Bares It All For Rolling Stone Magazine Shoot; Shows Off Her Crazy Self – Pics Inside
