Much to everyone’s shock and dismay, actress Naya Rivera who went missing on July 8, was declared dead after her mortal remains were found after days of intensive search. Naya Rivera was announced missing by the Ventura County Sheriff Department after her four-year-old son Josey Hollis Dorsey was found all alone in the pontoon boat, in the middle of the lake, that she hired for their boating trip. As the news of Naya Rivera’s death hits headlines, a viral track titled ‘If I Die Young’ sung by the Glee star leaves fans teary eyed.
On YouTube, Naya Rivera’s music video titled ‘If I Die Young’ has managed to grab a lot of attention. In the video, the Glee star sings the song If I Die Young and it’s the lyrics that have made fans emotional. The lyrics read, “If I die young bury me in satin, Lay me down on a bed of roses, Sink me in the river at dawn, Send me away with the words of a love song. Lord make me a rainbow, I'll shine down on my mother, She'll know I'm safe with you when, She stands under my colors, oh and Life ain't always what you think it oughta be, no, Ain't even grey, but she buries her baby, The sharp knife of a short life, Well, I've had just enough time.”
Reacting to Naya Rivera’s song If I Die Young, one fan wrote, ““sink me in the river “ oh mannn that line hit different now rip naya,” while another fan commented, “RIP Good Mama Naya. You managed to save your boy. Warrior boss to the end. Rise in glory.”
