Naya Rivera Missing: A 911 Caller Informed Officials About Child ‘Alone’ Without Mother Not To Be Found- Reports
In a shocking piece of news, Glee star Naya Rivera went missing on July 8 after a boating trip with her son to a California lake and is presumed dead. It was reported that the four-year-old, Josey Hollis Dorsey was found alone in the pontoon vessel in the middle of the lake. As the boy was found by another person boating in the lake, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department began searching the lake for the Glee star. According to latest reports, it was a 911 called who informed the officials about a child ‘alone’ with a mother nowhere to be found.

According to a report in HollywoodLife, it was a woman whose husband was one of the first people on the scene and it was he who found the boy. The woman called 911 to report about a child ‘alone’ without no mother present in the boat. In the 911 call, a woman said she was calling from Lake Piru and mentioned that it is an emergency as they found a little girl in a boat all by herself and her mom is nowhere to be found.

Moving on, the dispatcher on the call questioned, “White, Black, Asian or Hispanic?” to which the woman replied, “I have no idea, I’m heading down there right now — my husband was one of people who was first there and I’m going to go find out more information. He just told me to call it in.” Later the dispatcher asked if the kid is a boy or a girl, to which the women mentioned she believes it is a girl. When the dispatcher questioned the woman about the age of the child, she said, “Like I said I have no idea, I’m heading down there now.”

While the 911 caller reported about a girl being found, pictures of Naya Rivera’s son Josey Dorsey see him having a little long and curly hair. Meanwhile, on July 8, in a press conference, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department mentioned that if Naya Rivera has drowned in the lake, it can be that her body may never be found due to the tress and debris in the lake’s bed. ABC’s NewsLive reported that the search for Naya Rivera has been turned into a recovery mission by officials.
