Pregnant Katy Perry Reveals Crying Inside Her Locked Car To Cope With The Lockdown Stress, ‘Need My Space’
Katy Perry is expecting her first child with fiancé Orlando Bloom sometime this year and while it’s the happiest phase for her, the pop star is also reveals going through stress due to the Coronavirus lockdown. It a conversation with Roman Kemp on his Capital Radio breakfast show this Saturday, the Roar singer confessed to locking herself inside her car and crying her heart out to cope with the lockdown trauma, all because she wants her own space amid pregnancy. She also opened up on her pregnancy cravings and it involves Indian food! 

Upon being asked if Katy is crying over her swollen feet - something that women commonly face while they're pregnant - she said, "Yeah well my feet haven't gotten swollen yet but I cry, yes. I have put myself in my parked car outside my house many times and locked the doors." The interviewer was shocked to know that Katy locks herself inside her car, to which, she adds, "Yeah I do because I need my space, Roman. You know, there's so many levels of uncertainty and it's really a one day at a time type of thing."

Katy was then asked about her cravings. The singer said, "Well, in the very beginning it was like 'give me Indian food or get out of the way'. I have never wanted more spice than I do want in my life now. So it's all about spice, how hot can my mouth get."


Not very long ago, Perry had shared a glimpse of her unborn baby's ultrasound that had her showing a middle finger to the singer. Expressing her excitement about the same, she said, “I went to a doctor's appointment yesterday and I had an ultrasound and she was moving around. I have a video of her giving me the middle finger and I was like, ‘This is my child’."
