Pop sensation Rihanna has indeed got a big reason to party hard. The singer has welcomed her first child, a baby boy with her partner ASAP Rocky. The couple, who announced expecting their first child in January this year, became parents on May 13 in Los Angeles. Rihanna is yet to officially announce the birth of her child on social media. Rihanna and ASAP Rocky have been receiving heartfelt congratulatory wishes from their fans, friends from the industry, and near and dear ones.
Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who was blessed with a baby girl via surrogacy in January, took to her Instagram handle to extend her wishes to Rihanna. She posted a stunning photo of the singer flaunting her baby bump in a bralette with a long jacket and wrote, “Congratulations" along with heart emoji. Interestingly, Rihanna’s ex-boyfriend Chris Brown also congratulated the singer on the birth of her baby boy. The 33-year-old rapper wrote, “Congratulations” and included a red heart, a pregnant woman, and praying hands emoji. TMZ was the first to report the news of Rihanna giving birth to a baby boy based on sources. For the unversed, the Umbrella hit-maker announced that she is expecting her first child in January when photos of her proudly flaunting her baby belly while out on a walk with Rocky surfaced online. She showed off her growing baby bump in a long pink jacket teamed with an unzipped big overcoat.
To note, Rihanna had first sparked her pregnancy rumours when she was spotted eating at Carbone. Back then, a source revealed to TMZ that she was “quite clearly drinking sparkling water and openly rubbing her baby bump.”
