Rihanna Expresses Her Desire To Play Poison Ivy In The Batman Series
Rihanna eyes on a meatier role in the Batman flick, the singer confessed of being a huge fan of Poison Ivy and would not mind playing the role if ever she gets a chance in her near future. The movie will release in 2020
Rihanna's recent post raised a lot of eyebrows and got her fans excited. The singer had a video of her boots on her official Instagram handle, with the caption, "Bat-mobile, but make it fashion! get into this matte leather-rubber fusion tho. @fenty" The mention of batmobile in her caption sparked a lot of speculation among her fans and paparazzi about the diva being a part of Batman flick. While few of fans commented with a question asking about her presence in the movie, some just went ahead and confirmed the same.
One of the fans commented, "CONFIRMED: Rihanna has been cast as poison ivy," while another one said, "Okay Catwoman. we see you." With the crazy amount of excitement in the air, the singer was quizzed about the same during the 5th Annual Diamond Ball event about being roped in for Batman. As reported in Entertainment Tonight she replied, "Wait did I hint anything? Oh, that?! Really? That!? Are you serious? No that has nothing to do with Poison Ivy." Hope the makers are listening to Rihanna.
Rihanna confessed to being an avid fan of Batman which is bigger than imagination. Gushing over Poison Ivy she further added she also dyed her hair red because of sheer liking towards Uma Thurman.
However, dropping hints about the same of wanting to do the role of Poison Ivy, she said that though she didn’t get any call so far, she would love to go and try her hands at the role if she gets a chance. Confessing further she also revealed how she was dressed as Poison Ivy during one of the Halloween events.
