The novel Coronavirus has struck India really hard as it took many people’s lives. As the registered positive cases graph increases and people are becoming helpless, the people in the West are also coming forward to help the worst-hit country that is in short of medical resources. Stars like Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ husband Nick Jonas, talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, To All The Boy I've Loved Before actor Lana Condor, actor Jada Pinkett Smith, Game of Thrones star Richard Madden, YouTube star Lilly Singh, and The Big Bang Theory actor Kunal Nayyar have urged fans to donate as much as possible to save the Indians.

This time, Senorita singer Shawn Mendes was seen asking people to make generous donations for the people of India amidst the pandemic. He asked netizens to help donate and to raise $1 million for Give India COVID relief. He as well as comedian Jay Shetty are helping with the funds and want the same contribution from social media users as well. Shawn shared a video saying the same and backed it with, “Help me and my friend @jayshetty raise $1M for @give_india and our generous sponsor @indiaspora will match it! This means every dollar is doubled so we can try our best to make a difference! Donate NOW on this post $10 or $1000 all make a difference!  Thank you so much.”

Earlier, PeeCee shared an IGTV, talking about the donations to Give India. She said, “Nick and I already have and will continue to contribute. We have all seen how far and wide this virus can spread, an ocean between us makes no difference. No one is safe unless everyone is safe. It’s so heartening to see so many people stepping up to help in so many ways. We need to beat this virus, and to do that requires ALL of us. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!”
