Hello singer Adele and her husband Simon Konecki’s divorce has been finalised. The couple had announced their split two years ago but now their marriage has officially been dissolved after a judge signed off on their settlement, as reported by US Weekly. As per the same outlet, the 32-year-old singer Adele and her former 46-year-old charity boss husband Simon submitted a judgement packet last month, but it was not signed by the judge until now, thus, confirming their separation.
The packet was to determine rights to community property and debts through mediation. "Adele and her partner have separated," the singer's representative announced in a statement to the portal at the time of the separation announcement. The duo shares one child, son Angelo, 8 and reportedly, early filings showed that both Adele and Konecki were seeking joint custody and visitation of their son. "They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment," the rep had added.
Adele and Simon got married in 2016 in a hush-hush wedding and they always made a concerted effort to keep their relationship private. However, their relationship hit the rock bottoms when they announced separation in 2019.
Meanwhile, apart from her personal life, Adele hit the headlines for her drastic transformation as she shed almost 50 pounds or 20 kgs. She shared a picture of herself on Instagram, showing off her massive weight loss body and looked almost unrecognisable.
