Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise was left with a broken heart, and a burnt pocket over the weekend. Shooting for his much talked about movie, Mission Impossible 7 in the United Kingdom, the actor fell prey to a major theft. The actor's thousands of pounds worth of luggage was stolen after car thieves sped away in his bodyguard’s £100,000 BMW X7 (Rs 1.01 crore). As per a report in the British tabloid, The Sun, the actor’s luggage worth thousands of pounds was stolen from his bodyguard’s car. The thieves in the car. This unpleasant incident took place in Birmingham. Though the cops were successful to track down the car, the belongings inside it were gone. The British tabloid reported, “Tom had been driven around in the car while in Birmingham and some of his ­luggage and belongings were inside it when it was taken. It’s since been recovered by police because it was equipped with an electronic tracking device but everything inside it had gone. It’s a huge embarrassment for the security team and the guy who had been driving it was hopping mad — but not as mad as Tom!”

The report also carried the quotes of the spokesperson of the police investigation in this matter. He confirmed that the department received the complaint on Tuesday, and the actor’s car was also recovered.


The spokesperson was quoted as saying, “We received a report of a BMW X7 stolen from Church Street, Birmingham in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The car was recovered a short time later in Smethwick. CCTV enquiries have been made in the area that the car was recovered from. Tom Cruise kickstarted the shoot of Mission Impossible 7 in 2020, but the film got delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. He has been shooting for the film in Birmingham with Hayley Atwell.
