Brad Pitt's mental health was reportedly affected after divorce from Angelina Jolie
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were one of the 'IT' couples back then. They dated for a long time and got married in 2014. However, in 2016, Angelina filed for divorce and it came through in 2019. They are currently embroiled in a legal custody battle of their six kids. The ex-couple keeps making headlines for multiple reasons. According to latest reports, Brad was suicidal after reportedly facing emotional abuse from his former star wife.
The 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood' actor has been apparently waiting for long for Angelina to forgive him over whatever happened between them, via meaww.com.
Back then, Brad Pitt had assured his fans that he's not suicidal after his split from Angelina Jolie. Speaking with the Associated Press, in 2017, Brad said, "I'm not suicidal or something. There's still much beauty in the world and a lot of love. And a lot of love to be given. It's all right. It's just life." Angelina earlier opened up about her separation from Brad and said that it wasn't an easy decision. Speaking to The Guardian, she said, "It took a lot for me to be in a position where I felt I had to separate from the father of my children." Adding to that, Angelina also said that the experience of getting the divorce has been traumatic and it has broken her.
"I think at the end of the day, even if you and a few people you love are the only people who know the truth of your life, what you fight for or what you sacrifice, or what you've suffered, you come to be at peace with that, regardless of everything going on around you," she added. She also said that she wants the family to heal and hopes that everyone, including Brad, moves forward.
