A Suitable Boy, a web series directed by Mira Nair, is based on Vikram Seth's novel by the same title. The mini series is set to release on Netflix on Oct 23. It stars talented actors like Tabu, Ram Kapoor, Tanya Maniktala, Namit Das, Ishaan Khatter, Sahana Goswami, to name a few.
We got a chance to interact with four of the actors of the series- Tanya, Namit, Danesh and Mikhail about their upcoming venture. The entire team seemed positive and enthusiastic about the film. Watch the video below, as Team A Suitable Boy shares their experience of being a part of this project:
Namit, who is the only one married amongst the 4, had a different take to share about the 'arranged marriage' scene in India, while Tanya, Danesh and Mikhail expressed their views.
The team also spoke highly about their director Mira Nair and said although she is a "taskmaster" but he "also loves her actors a lot."
By the end of our chat, we played a small game with the team, where Tanya's suitors answered questions related to her likings. Watch the video to know who won the round and declared himself as 'the suitable boy' for Tanya.
