Bajrang Dal Activists Vandalises 'Aashram 3' Sets In Bhopal; Throw Ink At Director Prakash Jha - Report
Director Prakash Jha's upcoming web series 'shram 3' is making headlines for controversial reasons. A group of Bajrang Dal members allegedly ransacked the sets of the third season of the web series and also threw ink on renowned filmmaker Prakash Jha, and accused him of portraying Hindus wrongly, according to a report published in Times of India.

The windscreens of two buses of the crew were also broken in stone-pelting. The report further adds that the Bajrang Dal activists threatened that they will not allow the shooting of the web series anymore.

According to the report, SP Bhopal South, Sai Krishna Thota told PTI that some people raised objections and staged protests over the name of the series when its shooting was underway at Old Jail Premises located in Arera Hills. "Bajrang Dal activists objected that this web series hurt the sentiments of Hindus as it contains obscene scenes," he said. Besides that, the protesters threw ink on Prakash Jha and pelted stones. The activists also raised slogans against Prakash Jha and Bobby Deol, accusing them of hurting religious sentiments. After the incident, police reached the spot and the situation calmed down. However, no person has been arrested yet.

The report further adds, Bajrang Dal's Sushil Surhele told PTI, "Prakash Jha wrongly portrayed the arrangements in a Hindu ashram in its previous seasons by showing the exploitation of women by gurus. There have been ashrams in sanatha dharma since the past thousand years that played an important role in building social values. There is no truth in what has been shown in this web series."
