Michelle Obama is on cloud nine these days as she has announced her documentary film Becoming with Netflix. The flick is slated to release on May 6, 2020. For the uninitiated, Michelle Obama has travelled to more than 30 cities to promote her best-selling book named Becoming. 2018’s memoir which stated her childhood to adult time in the White House was the best-selling book of the year. The documentary Becoming is directed by Nadia Hallgren. This is the 3rd joint project between Netflix and Higher Ground Productions. (The production company owned by Obama’s).

Michelle took to Twitter and shared the trailer of her documentary with her fans and followers. She just took to her Twitter account to share the trailer, she wrote, “I’m thrilled to give you a sneak peek of BECOMING before it premieres on Netflix on May 6. This movie tells my story, from my childhood on the South Side of Chicago to my life today—and it celebrates the powerful stories of the people I met along the way. #IamBecoming”
