She made her acting debut with the film Bolo Hau, directed by her father, Tarun Dhanrajgir. She plays Rukhsar, a girl who belongs to the family of nawabs. She also edited the film. Jahnavi is set to make her digital debut with the web series, Broken But Beautiful, co-starring Siddharth Shukla. She plays a pivotal role in the web series. Jahnavi got her first acting assignment when she was 4. It was a docu drama series.
