Last year, the erotic thriller 365 Days starring Michele Morrone became a huge hit on Netflix. The film tells the story of Massimo (Michele Morrone) and Laura (Anna-Maria Sieklucka), the Sicilian gangster and Polish business executive who fall in love after a dramatic incident. The film was not only liked for its high octane action-drama but was also criticized for the steamy sex scenes which involved the actors. Well, that did not dampen the popularity of the film as the fans began to wonder if there would be a sequel as the makers ended the first part on a cliffhanger. But now after seeing the success and the love for the film, Netflix today announced the sequel of 365Days.
As per the news in a tabloid, the sequel will be based on Polish author Blanka Lipinska's books which also inspired the original film. Barbara Białowąs and Tomasz Mandes will once again direct the film and along with the original cast members, Michele Morrone, Anna-Maria Sieklucka, and Magdalena Lamparska, the film will also see some new faces. Model and actor Simone Susinna will be joining the cast as Nacho. Due to the massive success of the first film, the sequels are expected to get bigger and better, reveal the makers. Ewa Lewandowska and Tomasz Mandes will produce parts two and three alongside Maciej Kawulski. The production of the film will start this month in Poland before moving to Italy. The two films will be shot back to back and is expected to release on Netflix in 2022.
Actor Michele Morrone who became an overnight sensation after the release of the film took to Instagram and posted a mirror picture on his Instastory. In the picture, the actor is seen in his vanity van and the caption reads "I'm Back 365". Well, this news is clearly exciting and we can wait for the release.
