Amruta Subhash's journey as an actor is just getting exciting, after bagging the Black Lady for her performance in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy and being critically acclaimed for performance in Bombay Begums, where she plays the role of a prostitute and a mother who will go to any length for her son’s dreams to come true, the actress has now landed a very meaty role in director Ram Madhvani's next Dhamaka which also stars Kartik Aaryan.

A one-minute-long teaser that was released by the makers showed a glimpse of Amruta playing a stern boss to a TV reporter played by Kartik Aaryan. While speaking with SpotobE the actress praised her co-star for being humble and down to earth, "Kartik is such a darling, I loved working with him. I loved him as a human being and love his spirit He is very instinctive," she said.


Kartik who has come a long way since his first film Pyaar Ka Punchnama surprised Amruta with his journey she said, "While shooting with him I learned about his story, how he came from Gwalior, he would stay in Belapur in a small room with all the other strugglers. While he was writing his exam in college he was also signing his autograph, his story was very inspiring. I like his attitude towards life, he is very positive and down to earth his vibes his energy everything was just amazing and we had fun on sets."

Meanwhile, Amruta Subhash is waiting for the release of her next titled Dithee a Marathi film that releases on Sony Liv. While Kartik Aaryan has Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 to wrap with Kiara Advani. The film is directed by Anees Bazmee.
