GoT Actor Alfie Allen’s Body Double Andrew Dunbar Passes Away; Actor Posts Heartfelt Tribute
This Christmas turned out to be the sad one for the cast and crew of Game Of Thrones when reports of Andrew Dunbar's passing made headlines. Actor Alfie Allen, who portrays the character of Theon Greyjoy in the hit series, Game Of Thrones, is saddened by this news.
Andrew Dunbar, who played a body double to Alfie Allen, in one of the most-loved and viewed series Game of Thrones is no more. The 35-year-old actor passed away a day before Christmas, on December 24, 2019, leaving his near and dear ones in shock. Andrew had some amazing movies like Garage Sale Mystery, Christmas Icetastrophe, White Raven and Concrete Canyons to his credit.
Actor Alfie Allen, who portrays a character of Theon Greyjoy in the hit show Game Of Thrones is saddened by this news and he took to his Instagram account and wrote “Extremely shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. To lose a loved one so young, I can only imagine what his family is going through. RIP Andrew xxx.” Reportedly, the reason behind his sudden death still unknown and police are not treating it suspicious. The entire cast and crew of Game of Thrones are still recovering from this piece of shocking news and are missing him every single minute. The sudden demise of Andrew Dunbar has saddened one and all. The Extras Department Agency who closely worked with Andrew paid a special tribute to him and said, “To say we are shocked and saddened at the passing of Andrew Dunbar is an understatement. We have so many fond memories of the years Andrew worked with us. He was so versatile we could cast him in anything, he was such a talented performer he would always end up being featured, and he was so adored that he was always requested by productions again and again.”
“He'll be remembered in his roles as a Stark and Theon Greyjoy's Double on Game of Thrones, a corrupt Police Officer on Line of Duty, the poor fella cornered by Colum on Derry Girls, and a Rebel on Krypton to name a few. But most of all he'll be remembered by his kind soul and infectious personality. Thank you for all you did for us, Andrew. We will miss you dearly” they said further.
We can just say the actor, who entertained his fans with his character in Game of Thrones, has left everyone mourning this Christmas.
