Gulabo Sitabo: KRK Reviews The Film And Calls It ‘Kachre Ka Dher’; Director Shoojit Sircar Gives A Befitting Reply
Ayushmann Khurrana and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Gulabo Sitabo has premiered on Amazon Prime Video today on June 12. The film, which has been helmed by Shoojit Sircar, dropped the trailer a few weeks back, has been receiving applauds by one and all. As the film is out on Prime, self-styled critic Kamaal Rashid Khan aka KRK watched the film to review it. In his review, KRK took to social media and bashed the film for its content and plot. Giving a befitting reply to the critic, the director thanks him for watching the film.

In his series of Tweets the self-styled critic wrote, “What’s this Kachre Ka Dher #gulabositabo? Itni Gareeb and Gandi looking film Toh 1965 Main Bhi, Nahi Banti Hogi. Ye Kya Hai, Amazon Ne 65Cr Garbage Ke Diye Hain Kya?,” “I am fed up within 30 minutes of watching this crap #GulaboSitabo! I am forced to watch it till end to review it for public, otherwise I won’t watch this crap for one minute also. #AaaThoo!,” “After watching #GulaboSitabo I just want to ask director Sahab @ShoojitSircar  Ki Sir Ji Kaya Karna Chah Rahe Thai Aap! Exactly Mansha Kaya Thi? Dekhne Walon Ki Rooh Nikalna Chahte Thai Kaya sir! Anyway thank you so much for not releasing it in the theatres.”

Giving it back to him in style director Shoojit Sircar wrote, “Sir aap mere har film ko itna pyaar dete hain ki mai aapka text padke gad gad ho jata hoon:))) thank you for watching :)) agle film mei fir se milenge yahin par.”

At mid-night, SpotboyE brought you a review of Gulabo Sitabo and rated the film with 3 stars. In the review we wrote, “Gulabo Sitabo, a 123-minute-long film, revolves around Mirza (Amitabh Bachchan), stinginess personified, and Baankey (Ayushmann Khurrana). The film sees Baankey and his family as tenants in Mirza’s Fatima Mahal, a haveli that is legally owned by Mirza’s wife Begum. Well, that premise was already established in the trailer that was released weeks before the film's OTT premiere. The film majorly chronicles the tu tu main main between a calm tenant and the most khadoos makaan malik he has ever witnessed.” (ALSO READ: Amitabh Bachchan And Ayushmann Khurrana's Gulabo Sitabo Has A 'Deepika Padukone- Ranveer Singh Wedding' Connection - Details Inside)
