Karan Johar Faces The Wrath Of Netizens For Launching Star Kid Shanaya Kapoor; Gets Severely Trolled With Netizens Asking ‘How Much Money Do You Get To Launch Star Kids?’
Filmmaker Karan Johar recently announced actor Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor’s debut in Bollywood. He took to his Instagram to reveal that he is all set to launch the star kid in his upcoming venture. While some were happy with the news, there were some who did not accept it. Considering the filmmaker is tagged as the ‘flagbearer of nepotism’, he had to bear the wrath of netizens as they think KJo really cut corners after he announced her launch.

Karan shared some gorgeous pictures of Shanaya and wrote, “Welcome to the #DCASquad, @shanayakapoor02! It’s going to be an unforgettable and exciting journey that begins with your first film with @DharmaMovies, this July.” Right after this, netizens started showering him with some hate messages where one said, “Seriously, can we go beyond the Kapoor family for new talent?” While another one commented, “Aagye karan ji star kids ko promote krne”. There was one more who simply asked, “How much money do you get to launch star kids?” So far, Karan has launched star kids including Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, and others.

Earlier, talking about nepotism in an interview, Karan said that he has also launched non-nepotistic products in the industry but no one is talking about that. “We have introduced 21 debut directors. Out of which, I can say, 16-17 are not "nepotistic" young filmmakers. They are not from the fraternity or the industry. They are completely from outside,” Karan quoted saying by India Today.

"Why don't I get the benefit of that; my production house is launching kids who are directors/filmmakers. They are making major motion pictures and leading the game. They are not from the industry. Why don't I get credit for that? Why do they discredit some of the actors who are from (the industry)? Why do I have to justify it at first? I think they are talented enough to face the camera and maybe, one thing can say is that they get easy access, but after that, they have got a journey ahead," Karan added.

Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain: Nehha Pendse Expresses Her Views On Being Targeted For Her Husband Shardul Bayas’ Weight And 'Divorcee' Tag
Nehha Pendse recently stepped into the shoes of Anita Bhabhi’s character on popular TV show, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. Earlier, this role was played by actress Saumya Tandon. After the actress came on board, she has been constantly trolled, sometimes the actress is compared with Saumya Tandon, but besides this she is massively trolled for her husband Shardul Bayas. The actress is targeted for 2 reasons one for her husband being overweight and other for him being a divorcee.

This has not gone down well with the actress. She slammed the haters for targeting her personal life, during her conversation with Times Of India. The actress shared she feels people hate her for her courage of tying the knot with him. Also to a certain extent haters were irked that the actress got this opportunity in her life. She says, “I think somewhere down the line people hated me for my courage. I very strongly feel so. How dare she, how could she or how did her parents allow her to do this because we are not getting this privilege in our life. It was more of a fight like that.”

The actress shared despite working in the entertainment business for a long time now, being targeted for personal reasons, left her shocked. “I have been working in this industry for such a long time but I’ve never been trolled for anything or I’ve never been in the news for my personal reasons. This happened all of a sudden and I started getting negative publicity which I am not used to,” adds Nehha.

Though in the initial days this hatred bogged her down, over the period of time, she feels they hate for her guts, “Initially, I was asking myself why it is happening and what different I am doing. After a lot of thinking I realised that they hate me for having ba**s,” said the actress.
