Lust Stories 2 Star Amruta Subhash Reveals Anurag Kashyap Asked Her Period Dates Before Filming Intimate Scenes In Sacred Games 2: ‘He Was Extremely Sensitive’

Anurag Kashyap successfully kept himself out of the limelight and controversy for a long period of time. Now, the much illustrious filmmaker has heaped praises from his Sacrad Games star Amruta Subhash who turned candid about Anurag Kashyap and how sensitive he can be as a filmmaker. The critically acclaimed actress also revealed the director’s team enquired about her period dates so that they could shoot at a time when she is comfortable.
The actress, who was recently seen in Lust Stories 2, performed a few intimate scenes with the Netflix anthology. However, she performed her first ever intimate scene on camera for the show Sacred Games 2.
In a recent interview, Amruta opened up about shooting her first sex scene for the web series. She recalled how filmmaker Anurag Kashyap treated her during the shoot.
"I did my first sex scene with Anurag in 'Sacred Games 2'. There was no question about being a man or a woman. He was extremely sensitive. He called the direction team. He was the one who asked me the question, what are your period dates, so they don’t schedule the sex scenes around that. ‘You will do it during your periods?’ He asked that," Amruta Subhash said during her conversation with Netflix India.
Subhash described Kashyap as a very "sensitive person". He also asked her if she was comfortable doing it when she was having her periods. Amruta Subhash said that the sensitivity of a person is not defined by her gender.
The actress said that it is okay if an actor does not understand a character to its entire depth. She said it helps you develop into a better person as you play the role. Amruta also pointed out that she had fun playing the role.
