Monday Made Better With These Gritty Images From Sacred Games 2
If you are feeling the Monday blues pretty hard today, we have just the perfect thing for you. With the whole world counting down to the day we are going to collectively binge on the next season of Sacred Games, Netflix India decided to keep us wanting more with a well-timed Monday morning surprise. Let’s just say that social media and our minds are collectively blown!

The glitzy photoshoot has us wanting more with all the major cast members reimagined as gangsters from the glorious 70s. We see Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kalki Koechlin, Ranvir Shorey, Jatin Sarna (aka Bunty), Pankaj Tripathi, Surveen Chawla and Luke Kenny in glamorous avatars. With Gaitonde Bhau taking his business to international waters in Season 2, we can only imagine this season will be bigger and better.

With Sartaj and Gaitonde shining bright as usual, who really stole the limelight for us was Pankaj Tripathi who plays Guruji, Gaitonde’s teesra baap. It is safe to assume that he will play the most defining part in the storyline for the new season. In a comment to Netflix India, he has also hinted that we’ll have to watch the show twice to really understand his character. Pankaj ji, we are happy to oblige! It’s an absolute pleasure watching you on screen!

We must add that we miss Radhika Apte and Kubbra Sait in the photos though, both of whose characters culminated in sad deaths in the previous season. All this is missing is some Kukoo ka Jadoo and Netflix’s favourite girl!

Let’s face it, guys, we’ve waited for over a year for this one. We’ve waited with bated breath to see where the story takes Sartaj and Gaitonde’s fates.  With less than 25 din (see what we did there?) till the new season drops, all you can do for now is get up to date by re-watching season 1 and maybe stare at these photos all day – just like we are!

You’ve got our attention, Netflix!
