Mouni Roy, who has worked in films like Made In India, Gold, was last seen in the direct-to-digital released film London Confidential. The actress is an avid social media user and constantly keeps fans updated about what’s happening in her life. Even during the pandemic, the actress made visits to UAE, UK and Maldives and shared her experience of undergoing swab tests for safety. As Roy continues working in tough times, the latest reports state that she is all set to feature in filmmaker duo Abbas-Mustan’s digital debut.

According to a report in Peepingmoon.com, Mouni Roy has joined the star-studded cast of the Netflix series titled Penthouse. The report stated that the series that features Bollywood actors Bobby Deol, Arjun Rampal and Sharman Joshi in lead roles, has finally locked the lead heroines for the suspense drama series. A source close to the development revealed in the report that Abbas-Mustan has not only roped in Mouni but also Fan actress Waluscha De Sousa and Grand Masti fame Manjari Fadnis.

As per the report, Mouni Roy, Waluscha De Sousa and Manjari Fadnis, are romantically paired to the actors in the Bobby Deol, Arjun Rampal and Sharman Joshi. The shooting on the Netflix series is scheduled to resume early next month in Mumbai, says the report. The report also stated that Bobby, Arjun and Sharman will be playing business partners and share the penthouse to meet with their girlfriends.

Meanwhile, as Mouni Roy joins the cast of Penthouse, she also has 2021 release Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt, in pivotal roles.
