Priyasha Bhardwaj has previously played prominent roles in shows like Mirzapur 2, Aarya and Kaafir. She is from Assam and as an outsider, she has struggled to get some good work and her hard work has started paying her off.
Talking about taking up a role of a lesbian in the show, Love J Action, Priyasha says, "It wasn’t a very tough decision to make. I trusted my director Saurabh Tewari with whom I had a detailed discussion on how we want to portray Nayan. He made sure Kangan (my co-actress) and I were comfortable with it and it was handled sensitively."
Moreover, she shares that it is still shocking to see that people still have difficulty in accepting these kinds of relationships. "We all know this exists and the sooner we normalise it, the better it is and if we talk about the show (Love J Action) the intention was very clear- Overcoming all sorts of hardships to get your one true love."
Further, on being asked what type of roles she wants to essay on screen, she says, "I always want to play different characters on screen. If you talk about genre, then I would love to do a romantic and a comedy."
