Today, a new teaser of the most anticipated and awaited series Sacred Games 2 is out. The series that released in 2018 has achieved a widely acclaimed fan base, and the upcoming season of the series is creating a buzz all over. After the recent release of the trailer of the second season, fans are busy connecting the dots, hoping to get some more insights from the upcoming season. As Netflix India releases a new teaser today, the banter between Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Surveen Chawla is unmissable.
Being the most popular and awaited series of Netflix, Sacred Games Season 2’s fans are eagerly waiting to watch the season. In Season 1, Nawazuddin Siddiqui played the character of Ganesh Gaitonde, while Surveen Chawla essayed the role of Jojo. The new released teaser features Gaitonde and Jojo having an intriguing conversation. The two actors are spotted engaging in fun banter as they have a conversation about their lives. In the teaser, Gaitonde begins the conversation as he says that he only calls two people when he misses Mumbai, further moving on to making a call to Jojo. Meanwhile, Jojo picks the call and questions him from where did he get her number. Gaitonde answers her question by telling her he got it from the Prime Minister. Jojo goes on to tell him that she doesn’t care at all about it. The entire tone of the conversation is completely bitter-sweet and its difficult to figure how things will change for the two characters towards the end of season.
The most interesting part of the latest teaser is that it takes us back to the first season. While the new season has been in news since the release of the trailer, this particular teaser gives us a sneak-peak to understand the algorithm between Gaitonde and Jojo. The fans of the series might quite well remember how Gaitonde is seen killing Jojo in the first episode Ashwatama of season one. This particular video gives us a glimpse into what could be the possible reasons for Gaitonde to kill Jojo?
Sacred Games has been amongst one of the most spoken and watched shows of Netflix. The season features Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Jitendra Joshi and Pankaj Tripathi. The show’s plot revolves around a cop named Sartaj Singh, played by Saif Ali Khan and a gangster named Ganesh Gaitonde, played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui and the city of Mumbai. The Sacred Games Season 2 will arrive on August 15, 2019.
