The date, May 4, celebrates George Lucas’s Star Wars media franchise and is known as Star Wars Day. It is also termed as 'May The Fourth Be With You' day. This day is observed as a holiday by all the Star Wars fans across the world even though it was not created or declared to be a holiday by Lucasfilm. Many fans celebrate the Star Wars day in different ways on social media and television, but the day has been officially observed with events and festivities at Disneyland and Walt Disney World since 2013 after Disney purchased Lucasfilm and the rights to Star Wars.

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back– Released on May 21, 1980, The Empire Strikes Back is the sequel to the first film A New Hope of the original Star Wars trilogy.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker- Released on December 20, 2019, directed by J. J. Abrams, the Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker is the third film of the Star Wars sequel trilogy.


SERIES - Star Wars Rebels- The first episode of the series aired on October 3, 2014. The series consisted of 4 seasons in total with one short season.

Star Wars Resistance- The first episode of the series aired on December 10, 2018. The series consisted of 2 seasons in total with one short season.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars- The first episode of the series aired on November 7, 2003. The series consisted of 3 seasons.


The Mandalorian- The first episode of the series aired on November 12, 2019. The series consisted of 2 seasons in total.
