The first season of The Family Man showed us how a middle-class man Srikant aka Manoj Bajpayee handles two worlds simultaneously - his family and the other is the nation. However, in season 2, we will get to see Srikant more as ‘the family man’, well, at least that’s what we saw in the trailer. Yes, the trailer of The Family Man 2 is released on YouTube today and as expected, it is full of surprises. It is gripping, hysterical and thrilling. The trailer starts with Srikant and Suchitra (Priyamani) who are in what appears to be in the therapist.
We get to see that Srikant has switched his job to a regular 9-5 job; however, he is not getting a kick with his new work as he is having FOMO. LoL. Other than the job, there’s trouble in his marriage as well where Suchitra thinks their marriage is a ‘Sham’. However, things heat up when he had to go on a mission after an unexpected coalition emerges between the ISI and Rebels, enter Samantha Akkineni. In the trailer, she is seen as an army officer who is fierce and always ready to kill. She is quite different from what we have seen so far in her South movies. It would be interesting to see her in a more serious and complex character.
Meanwhile, things go downhill when Srikant realises they are under attack. Well, how will he solve the mission? Will he able be to save the country on time? That will be answered after the series releases, for now, watch the impactful trailer here.
