The Family Man actor Ashlesha Thakur revealed she has been receiving marriage proposals in large numbers on her Instagram DMs after the success of the series
The Family Man 2 which was released on June 4 received some rave reviews from fans and critics. Just like the first season, the second season offered a lot more which hooked everyone. With the success of the series, the stars also gain immense popularity. However, it is more overwhelming in the case of actor Ashlesha Thakur who plays Dhriti in the show. In a chat with News 18, the actor revealed that she has been receiving marriage proposals in large numbers on her Instagram DMs after the success of the series.
Ashlesha shared, “I have a lot of ‘rishtas’ in my DMs and people are sending me the creepiest and the sweetest of messages. I like the attention but I don’t know how much of it is true.” On the other hand, in an interview with SpotboyE, Sharad Kelkar who plays Arvind in the action drama hinted about season 3 of The Family Man.
He told, “Obviously it is Raj and DK’s style to leave the ending with a cliffhanger. Season 2 ends with two questions marks. What happened between my character and Priyamani’s character in Lonavla. Will Shuchi finally tell her husband what had happened? There is also some uneasy developments shown happening in the North East at the end of the last episode. These two cliffhangers will keep the audience hanging on till the next season.”
Meanwhile, SpotboyE gave The Family Man 2 four stars. “Super-skilled writing and an alert narration that catches the drama even as it falls, make this a constantly watchable sequel with actors from every generation pitching in with performances that sweep the storytelling forward into a sinfully engaging swoop of adventure and drama,” an excerpt of the review read.
