There’s plenty of action in the trailer with combat scenes, brutal fights, and it’s sure to be a treat for fans of Game Of Thrones

Still reeling from the after-effects of Game of Thrones? The show to replace it is here and its final trailer has just dropped on the Internet. Netflix’s adaptation of the best-selling fantasy series of books, The Witcher, stars Henry Cavill playing the role of Geralt of Rivia alongside other main cast members,  Anya Chalotra as Yennefer and Freya Allan as Ciri. There’s plenty of action in the trailer with vast, huge fields with armies, combat scenes, brutal fights, and already, a lot of comparisons are being made to Game Of Thrones. 

Just over a week away from the anticipated premiere of The Witcher, Henry Cavill unveiled the final trailer in Manila, at a fan event on Thursday which gives us a look into the world of THE WITCHER. It is an epic tale of fate and family.  The story of the intertwined destinies of three individuals in the vast world of The Continent, where humans, elves, witches, gnomes, and monsters battle to survive and thrive, and where good and evil is not easily identified. 


Other previously announced cast include Jodhi May as Calanthe, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson as Eist, Adam Levy as Mousesack, MyAnna Buring as Tissaia, Mimi Ndiweni as Fringilla, Therica Wilson-Read as Sabrina, and Emma Appleton as Renfri, Eamon Farren as Cahir, Joey Batey as Jaskier, Lars Mikkelsen as Stregobor, Royce Pierreson as Istredd, Maciej Musiał as Sir Lazlo, Wilson Radjou-Pujalte as Dara, and Anna Shaffer as Triss.


The Witcher premieres globally on Netflix December 20th, 2019.
