Best known for his Superman portrayal on the silver screen, actor Henry Cavill revealed something shocking during the promotion of his TV series, The Witcher. In order to shoot for a shirtless scene for his supernatural drama, he gave up on water for 3 days to avoid bloating and easily flaunt a chiseled body for the series

We all know stars practice some insane form of workouts and follow some weird diet regime to attain a certain look or those well-sculpted hot bods for each of their screen appearances. But Mission: Impossible – Fallout actor Henry Cavill, crossed all the limits by giving up on the most basic and most important item of the food chart. WATER. Yes, you read it right, the Justice League actor revealed on a chat show of giving up on water for three days to attain a certain physique for The Witcher.

Appearing on The Graham Norton Show to promote his new series titled The Witcher, he revealed that he gave up drinking water for three days in order to shoot for a shirtless scene in the series.  As per reports in aceshowbiz.com he said, “Diet is difficult, and you're hungry, but when you're dehydrating for three days you get to the point, on the last day, where you can smell water nearby.” So while we're taken by shock with this actor’s step, he revealed it was not cutting down on water suddenly but slowly and gradually. While on one day he consumed a litre of water, followed by day two with just half a litre of water and three day with no water, thus making him finally all ready to shoot on the fourth day. He said, “It's not no water for three days.” He adds further, “On the first day you'll have a litre and a half, the second day half a litre and the third day no water and you'll shoot on the fourth (day).”


Known for his heroic avatar onscreen Superman, his latest series The Witcher revolves around a monster hunter set in ancient times, distinguishing it to be under the supernatural category.
